The SimplyPayMe App is fully secure and PCI Level 1 compliant as incorporates the technology of their PCI Level 1 Pay by Bank app and card payments provider.

This level of security is the highest achievable in the card payments industry. No information is ever being stored of your customers' payment details within the SimplyPayMe database and it is not technically possible to take a picture of a customer's credit or debit card when using the scanner to accept a payment. In fact, the camera function will temporarily shut down as soon as the scanner opens up in the application.

If you're curious as to how this functions, try opening the card scanner in your application and take a screenshot. You will see a message on the screen saying you can't take a screenshot due to security policies. Any attempts to record screen activity using other application will result in a black screen as soon as you reach the card scanner.

Do I need to be PCI Compliant?

No, because the SimplyPayMe App is already compliant you never have to worry about this for your business. However, you do need to make sure you are not in breach of regulation by storing or writing down a customer's card details. Just leave all the transactions to us and you'll always stay compliant.
